"Development of an innovative system for universal continuous extraction and separation of active substances with subsequent utilization of biomass"
The main goal of the project is to implement product innovation in the thematic area "Mechatronics and Microelectronics", part of ISIS 2021-2027, aimed at the market implementation of an innovative system for universal continuous extraction and separation of active substances with subsequent utilization of biomass. Its implementation is achieved through the following specific objectives:
- Development of a world-class product innovation with high added value;
- Achieving a market advantage and establishing the company's brand;
- Ensuring protection of intellectual property rights of the innovation being developed.
The achievement of the main and specific objectives is achieved through the implementation of Activity 1. Development of an innovative system for universal continuous extraction and separation of active substances with subsequent utilization of biomass and Activity 2. Protection of industrial property at the national level and use of the necessary expert assistance for this. The main tool through which the activities thus defined will be implemented is the performance of research, testing, measurements, validation, creation and testing of a prototype.
The expected effect of the project implementation is also expressed in increasing the innovation capacity and competitiveness of COMERG GROUP LTD. The final result of the implementation is the development of a product innovation, which is based on fundamentally new knowledge about the extraction processes of plant raw materials and leads to the formation of new directions in the development of science and technology, as well as to the emergence of qualitatively new products.

Total project value: 660,000.00 BGN, of which 336,600.00 BGN is European and 59,400.00 BGN is national co-financing.
